Like zombies? Like guns? How about both?

I love the D90, but Nikon lowered the “punchy” colors because of Picture Control (Adjust saturation, sharpness.. etc..). I liked the colors produced in the D60 so I used Picture Control Utility to create it using a picture I took with my old D60.  I created a D60 Picture Control file, and heres how to get it:

1. Have an SD card formatted on your cam,
2. Insert card into reader
3. Open up your card. You should see a folder DCIM.
4. Create a new folder and name it: NIKON
5. Go into that folder and create another folder named: CUSTOMPC
6. Download the D60 file I made here.
7. Put that file in the CUSTOMPC folder.
8. Put the SD card back into your D90.
9. Go to Shooting Menu and go to Manage Picture Control and load the file.
10. Choose “copy to camera”
11. Then go to Set Picture Control and it should be listed.
12. Enjoy the D60 colors on your D90!

Ever since Cloverfield, i’ve been getting into the “camcorder” style movies. I think its a fresh genre that keeps getting better. The movie is about these people being quarantined inside an apartment building. Shit starts to go down when the CDC and SWAT teams don’t allow anyone to escape. This movie had action, suspense and horror element to it. Plus, its shot from a “TV” video camera and the entire movie is told from that view. I highly recommend seeing this movie.

Hard times folks. I hope those Bjork shirts go up in value.

I thought the Pontiac Aztec looked bad. This thing makes it look like a beauty queen. This is made by a Korean company. It can seat up to 11 people and is powered by a Benz 3.2l 6-cyl engine.

Is it any surprise that the auto market is now the lowest its ever been since 93′? With more then 600k unemployed Americans (as of this writting) and tightened credit market, no wonder its down. The biggest drop out of all the brands was Hummer (-54.8%). No brand or manufacture saw any increase for the month of September.

Even though this can be viewed as a huge negative, but could this be a blessing also? If people aren’t buying new cars, there probably clinging on to there old ones. That means service shops could see an increase?
